Attention Preschool - 6th Grade Teachers! Would you like to bring your class to our Fall 2018 Performance of:
Dear KHSPAC Supporters,
We are pleased to announce KHSPAC’s Fall Production of the Children's Play, Hansel & Gretel
Hansel and Gretel, the classic Brother's Grimm fairy tale, tells the story of a clever brother and sister and what their father and step-mother choose to do when their family falls on hard times. The family is so poor that the step-mother convinces her husband that it will be better off for everyone if the children are left in the woods. Hansel and Gretel, overhearing this plan, hatch a strategy of their own to return home, but eventually they are lost in the woods and they encounter an evil witch in a tempting gingerbread house. Can Hansel and Gretel escape the evil witch's clutches and return home again?
Our target audience is Preschool through 6th Grade. Teachers should be advised that while this is a children's show, there are dark themes. An educational packet will be sent to teachers who reserve seats so that they may prepare their students for the content of this play. School shows, each lasting approximately 1 hour, are scheduled for:
October 16, 18, 19, 23, 25, 26, 30 November 1, 2
Show times: 9:15am - 10:15am, 10:45am - 11:45am
Note: We start the shows on time. Attendees need to arrive ½ hour early so the teacher can check in at the box office before our ushers show you to your seats. Please consider this when deciding which show to attend.
The show will be held at Kaimuki High School Theatre and the price of admission is $5.00 for students and all other adults except classroom teachers, who will be admitted free.
Please complete the Tentative Reservation Form and e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax it to 733-4427. This year we have also made our Tentative Reservation Form available online as well. Please visit www.khspac.org to access our online form.
A Confirmation Notice stating your reserved show date and time will be sent to you. A Final Head Count Letter will also be sent to you prior to your arrival.
